Does the 2011 SGSG have XM radio?

No. Of course I electronically challenged.

No. You have to add it as a accessory.

It does not---------also in case you didn't notice it does not come with the leather dash trim. I just added both to mine. Contrary to posts on this forum the xm is not a big deal if your service dept. has a good crew. Call Marvin at Proteam HD in lawton, ok. for the complete parts list and directions. He did it for me and it was a snap and works perfectly. The # is as follows:580 353 5088--------Ask for Marvin Moore in service.

Posts on this forum do not show it as a big deal either. Just need to add the 6B connector to the fairing harness and get the needed parts.

Thanks

I have XM on mine via my Zumo 665 GPS.

I'll give Marvin a call and see if what's been posted here (i.e. providing the 6B connector) is how he's doing it.
I've heard it before: "Once you know how to do it, it's easy."

I have a long drive tomorrow so plenty of time to call Mike or Marvin, and I'll post what I learn. If they aren't installing a 6B connector, they're simply splicing the power/ground, and CAN +/- wires from the Ipod, and running the XM specific wires to the 35 wire connector directly. Time will tell.

Harleypingman
you are correct hard wire 4 wires to Ipod 3 wires to plug 35

Thanks for the confirmation. Nothing wrong with doing it that way since it works. Adding the 6B connector is a good way to do it since it replicates the wiring on the '10 SESG and other non-CVO fairing models which makes it easier to add additional accessories to the Advanced Audio system, e.g. NIM, CB, etc. provided there's room for them.
mjb365, I called Marvin's dealership this morning and turns out Monday is Marvin's day off. I'll call him tomorrow.

Spoke to Marvin this a.m. and he confirms that they installed the XM module atop the Ipod module and wired the XM by splicing the XM Connector wires for CAN + and -, and power and ground to the corresponding wires in the Ipod harness, and the XM connector wires for XM Right channel, XM left channel, and XM ground to the 35 wire connector on the back of the HK radio.
