Considering the Monkey bars but not sure if 10s or 12s. I had 12s on my 09 Electra Glide and loved them. But in photos I am seeing the 12s sitting above the faring. On my 09 they were even with the top edge. Not sure I like the look of the 12s on the Rushmore. Ive seen internet photos of both but has anyone here done the switch? Considering ive had 12s before do you think I would be disappointed with 10s
Pics please
Well crap, I guess I should have looked at some pics of my 09 before I posted this. They 12s did sit higher than the faring. Would still like to see some pics though and while we are at it. What was needed for the swap.? other than Riser Bushings and wire extension kit

Well no one responded. How many have changed out there Bars on their New CVO Limited? Any issues with the Heated Grips? Ive decided to go with 10 inch Yaffee Bars but my dealer is a bit concerned about the heating element. They called Paul and they said they only have had one issue with that and those Bars were returned. Possibly an isolated issue

In case anyone wanted to know where the 10 inch Yafees sit

Love the look, any issues with stock wiring/cables?

I too love that look.

I changed my bars out for the 10" Wild1's Mini-Ape, puts hands right at the top of the fairing height-wise. It is criminal they aren't stock on these bikes.
-
I put 16's on. Dealer said cables are good upto 14".

Why is it criminal? The majority does not like Ape's/Monkey's of any type. All personal preference. I personally don't like the look or feel. The awesome thing we can all do as we like. If they were stock, the 1st thing it would do is remove them.

They look great. I just picked up my 2016 CVO Limited, but will trade out the bars soon.

I put the 10" yaffe bars on, stock cables and feels great. I'm 6'4 and the stock ones made me bend over

They look great. . I went for the 12s on my rg. You can't beat them. . Stock bars sucked if you ask me. . . Stuart

Looking real nice!
Could you tell me is the pull back the same as stock bars, less or more ?
looking to swap out my bars , I'm not too fussed with high apes but 10" yaffe's look about right as I don't want to go above fairing! I just want more pull back than stock bars, cheers .

It's certainly a personal taste thing like lots of the after market stuff for me though I don't want my hands above the fairing in the cold.

Sorry guys I haven't been on here to check in awhile. I really like the Bars. Hands are still protected by the Fairing. These seemed to be wider than my previous set and I asked Yafee about that. Yes they are a bit wider per Yafee. There is not as much pullback as stock. But hands feel more relaxed. The mirrors are about eye level which makes it a breeze. No more looking down for them. Leaning into twisters is much more natural than with stock bars. The one thing I have noticed with these Chrome bars is the sun glares off the points on the bars and that reflection can be a litte annoying. Bit not unbearable

I'm also thinking about either the 8" or 10" Yaffee Monkey Bars for my 15 CVO LTD. Anyone have trouble with the heated grips working with these bars??? Just don't want to lose them in the switch. Also anyone that put the 10's on need to switch wires or cables or did the stock ones work ?? Thanks !!!

I have them on mine... but I didn't install them so I can't answer that. here's the short yaffe monkey bars:

I'm looking at bars for my '15 CVO Limited. I'm 6'4" with a 34" inseam. I have a stock hammock seat. I want to raise my hands so that they are even with the batwing fairing or partially above as in half of the grip above top edge of fairing would be ok. I also need them to pull back 2" or so. I like the look of the 10" Yaffe bars above but read above how they don't have much pullback. I will be staying with the stock heated grips. I will be doing the install myself. Any help or suggestions that would help me get this done right the first time be greatly appreated. This is will be the first time that I have had any bars other than stock on any bike. Thanks

I installed the 12" Yaffe Bagger bars on my 2015 CVO Limited. they are about 2 inches above the top of the fairing but I don't mind the wind. fits me great and I'm only 5 10. Not a great deal of pullback like you say but I only have a 31 inch sleeve length so i pulled mine back a couple of inches from the back face of the fairing. You would probably want your bars very close to the fairing.
