Sid this is where you can post pictures (or in the pictures forum) on the Electra Glide that you've been working on

The stereo starts with a Biketronics Retro Radio BT1000 witch allows you to use factory hand controls with most Sony receivers. Next I chose a Sony CDX-M8800, AM / FM / CD / CR-R / CD-RW, MP3, XM ready receiver. The main reason I picked this receiver is for the stealth look when closed and the fact it was XM ready, I love XM. Then to use the XM you need two other components, an XM receiver and an XM Sony interface both from Turk. Next were the speakers. MB Quarts-PSC 213, 5

I had heard stories about this bike Sid.  Can hardly wait to see it (and HEAR it) in person, live!  Thanks for posting.  I know some are having stereo problems on this site, maybe this will help.

Now I'm really bummed.  It is exactly that receiver that I'd ordered that should be delivered here tomorrow to install with the Biketronics unit before Biketronics thought to tell me their RetroRadio unit wouldn't work with the 05 SEEGs.  That looks really good in there.  Very nice setup indeed.  Definitely something to be proud of.

Hey HotRodSticher!

Very nice look.  But how did you mount that radio in the huge friggin hole?  Were you able to find brackets, or am I going to need to manufacture some?

Thanks!

Mike
