Have our new baby home. Date of manufacture - 07-06. Now that hot right off the assembly line. EFI and hands free Smart Security System. Bought a Smart Siren II and will code it so both the XL and the SE2 page when activated. Installing sport windshield, sissy bar, sport rack, fork brace, stealth foot pegs,chrome upper and lower belt guards, chrome tappet and cylinder base covers, chrome engine guard, and chrome forward controls. Has any one installed the oil cooler on these Sportsters? If so why? Is it needed?

Word is 07 Sportsters may be coming with EFI. About to buy my sweetie a 1200L and my dealer said wait 2 months till the 07's are launched. Secondly they'll be a 30 year or is it 50 year anniversary for the sporster. Anyone hear anything on this EFI and possibly an anniversary issue?

Your dealer was correct. All 07 models are EFI.
