07 Wheel Bearings

Comments and opinions wanted !

 I was talking to the Asst. service manager at San Diego H-D yesterday about putting the solid polished wheels I have sittin around from Elvis on the new 07 Road Glide. S. M. told me the 07 wheels  have 25mm bearings as opposed to 1" in the 02-06.  ??????????????????????

they did play around with some of the wheel bearings for 07. There is some comment on Technical Forum 2007 Model Year document try this link:

              Tremenous amount of info in that 108 pages. From what I could read the 25mm wheel bearing issue is only for front wheels on Softail models. ????? weird.

A tube axle is stronger than a solid axle.
