Yaffe stealth plate blocking stickers?
« on: February 06, 2013, 08:55:47 PM »

I really want the stealth 3 kit,but here in Va we have our stickers in the corners. Anyone from Va with this plate mount? Or is anyone from a state that displays the stickers in the corner running this with no hassle?

In NH our stickers are in the corners and my Yaffe frame covers half of my sticker. I have never been harassed by the local law as of yet. I guess it's a risk I am willing to take!!!

They made a big news deal a couple of years ago when NC passed this law. I don't know of anyone that has been pulled. Same thing with the novelty helmets. I look at it like......"Gives him a reason if he needs one"

I ran into that problem and chanced it with no stops. When the new stickers came out, I found other places for them on the plate---trim a little off the sticker without cuttting off the info to make it smaller.

The Stealth III covers some of my stickers.  I have never had an issue.  Have 22K on the one thats on the Road Glide and 2500 miles on the one thats on the Road King.  Been in NC on both bikes.  The Road glide has been from Key West to Canada, MI, WI and all points between.
