What are your fav maps?
« on: May 21, 2014, 12:55:11 PM »

I was looking at my trusty Pierson map "Colorado Recreational Road Atlas".  I noticed the date 1990..!
I know that they moved any mountains but there might some new and improved roads out there.
I like this one because its spiral bound, and 81/2 x 11.

What do you guys like for ride planning?
Yes I use a GPS but not for the overview of the ride.

On our last two trips (Laconia '12, Sturgis and the West '13) I would look at a laptop and the Weather Channel the night before, then use the iPhone5 for navigation the day of.

No paper at all.

Worked well for us.

'Am going to get a Nav App that allows the i5 to function as a Nav unit without network access.
