Having worked with gyros just a little I can only say my first reaction was..... damn!
To work that's going to have to be a substantial spinning mass as high as possible. So something occupying (maybe) all the tour pak? Even then it's hard for me to imagine it helping to any real effect only within a very few degrees of the longitudinal/x/roll axis.
I'm probably wrong. Often am. And I've not even considered doing the match. But it's hard for me to envision this being any more than a minor aid at the soft margins.
