Greetings to you all from Dublin, Ireland. After some years getting my FLSTFI just the way I liked it, I spotted an '06 FLHTCUSE on the showroom floor, 17500 MI. it took an hours ride & 5hrs deliberation before I traded in. I'll pick it up next Saturday, but I will be sad to see the Fatty go. I am looking forward to it, but I have been reading a number of posts about leaks etc. & I really hope I'm not buying into a heap of problems. Anything I should watch out for?

Welcome to the site glad to have you join us, and congrats on getting your CUSE.

You have the 103ci motor in your bike and should be safe from all the leaking gasket, cylinder liner movement that some are experiencing in the 110ci motors.

And congratulations on the purchase on your SEUC!! As dOOd said, you have the much more reliable 103 motor, not the leak plagued 110 motor - so happy riding and enjoy!

Welcome aboard. IRL is also one of my favorite places to visit, and down many a Guinness with the relatives!
You should be OK with the 103", it's proven to be very reliable if treated right. Nothing like what the 110" owners are going through.

Plenty of door will be open here in the CVO land when you and your Mrs. come across.

Welcome to the new site and congrats on the new bike from Padre Island in Corpus Christi, TX. I have an '06 CUSE with about the same number of miles. The bike has been great except a problem with the heated and grips when it was delivered. The problem was corrected and all was well. You will really enjoy it. Change the pipes, the air cleaner, a reace tuner then get it dynoed. Then you'll really have fun.

Spent a little time in Dublin and Galway a few years ago, beautiful places. Spent St. Patrick's Day in a little town called Moat, had a blast.

It was nice to finally meet the folks who designed the roads in Boston.

I should be picking the bike up on Saturday with a bit of luck, so I'll get some photos up soon - though mine is nowhere near as modded as some of the smart looking scoots I've been seeing around here

Just to show my ignorance, I don't even know if the previous owner has made any mods at all, or what the typical first mods would be

- so if anyone could point me towards the correct forum (one for COMPLETE noobs) I would be most grateful. When I started with the Fatboy, I automatically went for K&N Air filter, Power Commander & SE slipons...is it the same approach or am I biting the wrong tyre here?
