2009 cvo roadglide exhaust
« on: September 10, 2009, 05:39:02 PM »

greetings to all
My name is prstyle69 and i am a new member to the forum. Just stopping by to introduce myself and say hi. Also I am the proud new owner of my first ever Harley. A 2009 cvo Roadglide. I am supposed to be picking it up this weekend but there are a few things I would like done to it before I take delivery. This is where you experienced harley owners come in.
I would like to have a full exhaust system installed, race tuner, trying to decide between vanson and hines hi outputs (which dont come out till october) or Samsons 4 inch performance. I would also be doing headers. Another addition would be hog-wired amp and speakers, air horn and an additional tail light by bright ass lights. The last addition would be the fairing lowers(vented) and the roadglide windshield trim.I also am thinking of adding a new widscreen nothing too tall, just has to have some curveture to the top end to redirect the wind.
Any comments or sugestions are very welcome and I hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks

Welcome to the fourm and good luck on the new ride. A lot of people here have been very happy with the Vance and Hines systems. Samson makes good exhaust, but for some reason you don't hear as much about them as you do V&H. Hawg Wired is a good choice--I have those on mine and they are awesome! Obviously windshield and lights are your personal preference. And be sure to post pics!!!!!! :2vrolijk_21:

Welcome from Northwest Ohio, I can say on my 09 the Vance & Hines 2 into 2 coupled with the SERT provided both the sound and power increase I was looking for.  Good luck and post  picture when ya pick her up!

Welcome to the board from Louisville, KY. You sound like your way ahead of the curve with the mods your thing of. I have V&H on my 08 Fatboy and I love the sound. I'm still looking at all my options with my SEUC coming in next month. Good luck and ride safe this weekend and post some pics when you can.

As far as your windshield. I have a 2010 SE Street Glide. I bought my shield from Klock Werks, which I had on my Ultra Classic. After I bought my Street Glide, I transferred it over.

Anyone have any video or soundclips of Samson pipes and headers on a SERG? Going to pick my bike up today and got to make a choice between the samsons or the v and h system which won't be out till next month. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site. I got the V&H power duells, paired them with the SE mufflers and I'm very happy with both sound and performance. Throw in a dynotune,SERT and heavy breather and there is no guessing involved.

Well guys I decide to go with the Samson Silver Bullet Slip ons 4 inch mufflers with the stock SE headers and a SERT. Hope this combo works well. I will post pics and videos once I get the bike back. Also ordering the Hawg Wired Double Shot system fro the bike as well. Cant wait till all is done. Any feedback on this setup is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome from NC. I have really enjoyed the fullsac baffles on mine with the non cat head pipe. Already has a map for tuning and keep the same look on the pipes and bags. To bad you can't come the week after that to MV when we have the CVO GTG. Smaller crowd but all CVO's

Hey all. I'm trying to get a good looking windscreen that will fit my 2009 serg with the chrome roadglide trim. As of now the klockwerks windscreen does not fit with the trim. Any suggestions?  All are welcome. Thanks.
