No question, I already know that a guru like Dave Stoddard up at Pocono can unquestionably get more out of it, and I'm gonna get up that way at some point. But my point with the PV is that even a Doof like me can quickly get the system very close and not have to worry about burning up their new pistons or leaving just a whole bunch of performance untapped. I mean to say that it can get pretty close and certainly *way closer* than canned maps or no auto tuning.
But I'm with ya on the need for a real tuner when you want to get everything that's hiding in there. Besides peak numbers, a good tuner will hit all those part-throttle drivability areas that the AT can likely never get.
In fact, just writing this is giving me a reason to maybe form a plan.
I would like to just see how it compares.
I intend to have mine tuned and to find out with real Dyno runs just how much difference there might be.
Dang it, man! You're about to cost me some money!
