Thank you. Yes, that was my sole intent.
If one throws a little more fuel at the engine to relieve some heat there, and they (still) have a cat in the headpipe, the cat will throw off additional heat as it burns off the remnants of that additional fuel, so likely no overall gain in heat loss, just more of a relocation.
In answer to the recent question, with an "empty" pipe and cams thrown into the mix, with a decent/proper tune you'll get (some) more power, (some) more engine heat as you produce that extra power (perhaps some less as you don't), and noticeably more sound, but you'll lose all the heat of the cat.
The Fullsac pipe is ceramic coated inside and out, so it could be said they'll throw off a little less heat themselves than a pipe that's not coated. I believe mostly what happens is they just take longer to get about as hot, though that's just a WAG on my part. I have a set on a 103 with cams and compared to running with just slip-ons on the cat'd stock headpipe/cams (which was noticeably louder than all stock, though not terribly so) it is louder, more powerful, and with nearly the same amount of engine heat overall, near as I can tell on that last one.
