Santa brought me LED headlights for Christmas.
I finally got around to installing them today. The most difficult part was removing and installing the visor chrome trim ring around the lights. All I had to do was unplug some HD factory splitter that went to the bottom bulb on the HD lamp. and plug the new one in. Everything was plug and play. Have not had a chance to ride in the dark yet.
First impression is that the HD lights were a soft yellow, and these HIDs are a bright white.
Not sure the pics do them justice.

They look like the Day Makers I guess.

Mark, I'm working from memory here so could be mistaken. Just in case though was there anything else attached to that splitter? My recollection is that on some bikes that splitter also fed the garage door opener?
Actually, (probably) never mind. Your 06 would be like my 05 was. Those bikes weren't wired that way.
So I didn't need to post after all..... :huepfenlol2:

Good job, Mark. You can never have too much lighting.

The brand was SunPie, and I got them on Amazon. I’ve been running them for a year now with no issues. I’d buy them again.

Looks much brighter. Didn't know Santa shops at Amazon :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

Not OP but I ran a sunpie LED in my first motorcycle for 4 years and never had an issue. I love it and I am ordering sunpie for the 2005 SEEG I just bought.

thanks Ironhorse, I bought the same ones for my 06
