Me thinks a few of you are missing the point. Of course the comparison is not fair, the stage one was such a disappointment it needed to be upgraded. At $3095 Canadian to install a boom stage 2 upgrade that I’ve never heard side by side (that’s 1 additional amp taking up space in the back and 4 new speakers), it never stood a chance anyway. Neither did the $2400 Canadian + labour JMAudio system that required me to ship my radio to Arizona and lay the bike up for a month. Could be be no side by side there either.

I’m just saying that while the other systems surely would sound better too, the comparison I actually experienced was so vast that this opportunity was too good to pass up and in the end if an actual comparison of all the 600 watt systems could be done the wild boar system could very well be the best choice of all 3 systems at any price... and if not, I certainly know for sure it is definitely an upgrade from what I had.

Gotcha. Will be interested to see what the final price for that setup will be to the public once it's completed.

I'd like to see how the hogtunes works out.  The Boom stage 1 is HUGE disappointment..You'd think they'd have a decent system on a bike that MSRP's at 43k.  No Bass, and when turned up distorts..C'mon Harley!  Someone in the MOCO needs to retire

Got the bike back yesterday and it sounds great. Equally as impressive was the professional installation... everything heat shrink wrapped and looking original. So tidy. I was amazed to see that they actually 3D printed the female jumper plug they needed to plug into the old amp harness. It just clips in place of the amp. Nifty.

I don’t know when HogTunes will have a part number for what I assume they will call a CVO overlay harness kit, or how much it will be, but I do know that it will be completely plug and play and that the radio flash required can be done at any harley dealership so it can be a DIY installation.

One thing for sure, if there is a demand, it will happen quicker!

This is my 3rd experience with Hogtunes and I must say they are pros!

I too am talking with PEZ to have my CVO Ultra upgraded.  Will reach out to him Monday.  Send him my bike and go from there.

I have a few questions for him, including how he gets around the eq curve HD uses etc....
