CB radio UHF alternative
« on: August 09, 2009, 09:35:48 PM »

The CB installed in the ultra is not used in Australia (other than other ultra's.) Is there an alternative UHF unit available to plug in / replace the standard CB using the standard controls. Any Ideas??
Thanks

At least you will not have any interference from the truckers down there.  Did not know that.

If it's not illegal you may have gotten a cheap solution to bike to bike comm., even then you still should be able to find a freq. to transmit on that won't be bothering anyone else.As far as a UHF radio that is plug and play for the bike I suggest not holding your breath. HD does not even take care of it's US customers that good.
