My wife says we have to get some type of bike to bike communication, like hand signals or just turning around and coming back when I haven't seen her for a few miles, just doesn't get it anymore.  I told her I ride for the peace and quiet but she doesn't care!
Anyway does anyone have any suggestions for types, brands, etc.  If I have to go this route then I will probably get a GPS and hopefully it would be able to talk to me through the headset via bluetooth, so I guess I need suggestions on a GPS that would work with this too.  I kind of pride myself on being able to remember all the directions for a half or full days ride but we had a GPS in the saddlebag this last trip and it was kind of handy for locating motels in the next town and calling ahead to get a room-so I guess that maybe if SHE got us lost it might be handy for that too ::)
  TIA for any suggestions.
Steve

BTW, I could add a CB to my SERG---would there be any advantage to doing that for the bike to bike comm.????

You could get the j&m CB kits that mount to the handlebar.  They supposedly work fairly well.  I don't know how they interface with a bluetooth system, though.  Otherwise, AutoComm has a pretty good system and it's quite clear, but it's expensive!  You can go the route of the Chatterboxes and such, but they don't work that well, in my experience.  Nothing will work really great.  Tell her a map in her pocket works the best!  That way either she'll be drinking when you get there, or you'll be drinking when she gets there!!

I don't have any personal experience with these but it is one that caught my attention.

I will try     http://www.midlandradio.com/Bluetooth-Intercom-Systems.XAB   with an iphone. On the iphone is the nav and the music, and whith the headsets there is also a bike to bike communication.

the Midland should be equivalent - but be carefull to get the A2DP enabled version.
