CD seems to skip, radio reception fades in and out? Any ideas.

How much vibration do you have in the fairing?  Have you made any changes in the fairing?  Heavier speakers?  Do you know if the brackets have cracked? 

A number of things can make the cd skip, reception however, would only be in the antenna or coax I'd think.

My CD skipped a bunch, almost gave in to it being normal.  I did find a cure this summer by adding a brace.
