Speakers for my seeg
« on: March 04, 2012, 10:38:08 AM »

I want to upgrade my front speakers on my seeg (again).  This time I want to use 6-1/2" with adaptor rings.   Can I have some opinions on what are really good. I don't want a hog pod or add tweeters.   I have the hawg wired 120 watt amp in there.   I'd like to keep that.  Thanks in advance.     Stuart.

Whatever.  I'm sure with all that I put in that,   Speakers would be in the budget.   What's good.   I want highs and more bass.

Biketronics Titan II....they use the Hybrid Audio Speakers and the set comes with their adapter rings... I put a set of those in my lowers.

Focal K2 6 1/2" component system is 4ohm and will impress with 75+ watts of good clean power to each crossover.

Are you planning on coax (single speaker) or components (separate woofer and tweeter)?

All of the speakers mentioned so far are excellent (I have/have had all of them).
It's really hard to beat the Hybrid Audio stuff - in my opinion they perform better at any given price-point.
