Title: 2018 CVO Road King?
Post by: harleychef2011 on June 02, 2017, 04:12:35 PM
As a very proud owner of a bad ass '14 CVO Road King (that I LOVE)...I have a funny feeling MoCo will come out with an '18 CVO model.  No CVO model for 4 years...and with the release of the "Road King Special" mid year....hmm....  It's gonna take something amaze balls to get me out of my bike, but I'm anxious to see what they do!

Yup.  Me too. Love my '14 SERK.
But, a really great paint job with M8-114?
May be tough to resist!

The only part that I am afraid of with the 18 would be that they would have to add  lowers to the bike and that is not for me. I think the 114 is a wet head so far. Billy

Mine's 14's not going anywhere, it's a keeper.

Would love to add an 09 CVO Road Glide to the collection.

For sure!  If not... I'll invest in the Stage IV 117 Kit and move along... (no pun intended!)

I have a spare case I machined to fit the S&S cylinders so it'll go 117 or 124.

My red 2013 CVO King has a lot of work done to it and is my favorite paint scheme of all time. However the junky stock motor parts that are still in it would make me consider a new CVO king or jumping ship altogether. Would be cool to see a new CVO king.

2003 CVO King, 100th anniversary
2008 CVO King,  Not sure if there was one with anniversary paint like 100th and 110th
2013 CVO King, 110th anniversary
2018, may be one if they follow history.

no softail cvo too. They had 8 "softails" for 2018 and not a cvo one? I'm pretty sure that we'll have to wait for 2019 models...

Ended the run of CVO Breakouts also.  Wouldn't buy an 18 Breakout anyways.  They changed the tank and made it look wimpy.  Too bad, I was thinking about pulling the trigger on one this year.  I should have bought a 17 CVO Breakout at 5K off on the rebates.  Waited one day too long and a guy was buying the last one at our dealer when I went in to buy it.

If you still want a 17 I'm seeing them all over the place at dealers still.  Check cycletrader.

Mistyped.  I meant a 16 at the 5K off during the rebates.
