Title: Another handlebar replacement question
Post by: Maczter on July 01, 2017, 12:07:03 AM
Anyone here using the HelliBars system for the RGU?  I have a '16, and have rolled my bars really forward after pulling the pin.  I like the height and distance, but wish the wrist angle was a little more out.  I have some issues after a crash shattered both of my arms 7 years ago and my hands go numb with certain riding angles.  Thanks 18 yr old kid driving a POS Chevy Lumina that ran a stoplight.  Would love to be able to tweak them as I need to.  Wondering on your takes and looks of them.

If that's what it takes to be able to keep on riding, go for it.  Under those circumstances, I wouldn't care what it looks like.

G'day Maczter,
I considered those bars but decided I would adjust them once or twice to get an acceptable wrist angle & then I'd be done. I went to BR's bars & had a set made up with better height & wrist angle for me. Could not be happier.

I went with 11/2" New Wave HD bars 9"R 34"W 8"PB 2015 RG
