Just have to share. I looked at a new Indian and a M8 and ended up deciding to keep my 2012 Street Glide CVO. Decided I'd spend a little money on my bike, thought about have engine work done but then discarded that idea and ordered a trunk.
Of course a week later I broke a valve spring (how do you ride a motorcycle in such a way to break a valve spring??)
Well the trunk came in and I am thoroughly impressed with the $1275 (delivered) trunk. It matches perfectly. No flaws after a lengthy inspection in the light. Upgraded hinges and latches (stock CVO I guess) and that fancy retracting lid cable.
I could not be happier (I guess if I had the bike I could be happier). Local upholsterer said he could recover a generic eBay $100 backrest pad for about $75. (Not the wraparound).
This is going on a Solo Tour Pak Rack from Ronnies HD.
I really still like my non running FLHXSE3!

You'll have it before the 2019 bikes hit the street. :2vrolijk_21:

Surprised you can still get painted parts for a 2012.

Yes, it was marked for obsolete and the dealer didn't know. Sticker inside shows it was painted Aug-Sep 2017.

Last year my left bag was damaged. The person who hit it paid out of pocket to replace. It took over 12 weeks before I seen it but I got it for my 2011. They told me that the Tomahawk Plant paints/makes them and yes the paint was an exact match.
