I've discovered that at long last (only took 4 years!) Harley have made software available to switch the cruise control and PTT functions with each other, correcting the lunatic change they made on the Rushmore bikes after "consulting with owners to see what they want" (yeah, right).
I had mine done yesterday - takes only a few minutes. HD say it requires a "kit" consisting of a pair of new buttons, but that's not really needed - you can just pull them off and put them on the other side.

I posted several weeks ago about the swap. Had it done on September 22nd when I took delivery if the new bike. Works great and the buttons are easily swaped as well.
