Title: Vance & Hines twin slash 3" round slip ons
Post by: ontcanuck on October 08, 2017, 11:26:59 AM
Having a hard time finding the right exhaust without pissing the neighbours off. I come to these and installing the quiet baffles anybody out there have done this? I went to my Harley dealer and they recommended the Harley screaming eagle Canons and they did sound really nice on other Harleys. When they came in I pulled off my mufflers and surprise the holes didn't line up, not even close. The dealer ordered them from a Softail Heritage classic a different animal the bracket holes are staggered. Help

What animal do you have?
If you're going through the dealer take them back. You want quite pipes go with stock.

Take them back and have the dealer order the correct parts.   Better yet, take them back, get a refund and order Fullsac 1.75 baffles to install in your original mufflers.  It will save you money, have good performance and be quite unless you get on it hard.

They have been returned and the dealer was very  embarrassed. Right now the exhaust sounds like it has bolts rattling around. I don't need my hearing to go any more but I would like a little more sound.
