Title: Harman Kardon Head Unit Issues.
Post by: geeman on October 08, 2017, 12:01:24 PM
Was riding the other day and my head unit started to randomly switch from XM, to FM, to IPod and would play for a while in each mode and switch again.  Has anyone else experienced this on their 2011 FLTRUSE or other model CVO?

Mine would sometimes switch from one source to the next, but didn't keep hopping through multiple sources.  I would always press the switch when that happened to get it back to original source.

Never figured out what caused it...static electricity, solar flares, gravitational disturbance, or what...maybe it just got stuck in the "pressed" position.  Might try spraying some electrical contact cleaner into the switch (actually all of them).

My 09 did that. Radio Shack contact spray fixed it.

Yank it out...Sent it to Tony @ Iron Cross Audio. Best $250 you'll ever spend He'll put an updated board in , freshen it up they work great. Had 2 of them done..
