As you all may know by now Troy Gentry passed away in a Helicopter Crash on Sept 8, 2017, Troy Gentry, best known as part of the country music duo Montgomery Gentry, was killed in a helicopter crash in New Jersey, The singer was 50. He was best known for his large smile and giving back to the community. Montgomery Gentry was a long time band that also performed at The Sturgis Bike Rally and others.
He was also a long time Harley and Custom Bike (His favorite custom bike was his Batman Bike, he also was a big fan of Batman and a kid at heart) rider, he spent his time every year sponsoring a benefit ride in Las Vegas every year to help raise money money for instruments for the kids in school to keep music alive during AMC Awards. They also attended other benefit rides around the country, they always had their scoots with the on tour as per Montgomery.
Some of you may have had the opportunity to take part in riding with Montgomery Gentry and other country music stars in Las Vegas. I was one. I rode with them 3 times and it really was a privilege.
The world lost a good Musician, Friend, and a all around good person.
He will be deeply missed.
Thank you Troy for the music and you kindness.
Troy your in a better place, RIP until we all meet again, We Will Miss You.

We saw them the first time @ Daytona Bike Week on Beach Street, before Destination opened when Beach Street was the deal. They did a great free concert that ran overtime because they were having a good time as well as the crowd.
Really sad to loose Troy, good ole Kentucky country boy only out to have a good time and help others.

I really enjoyed seeing Montgomery Gentry in Concert. A real class act.

They played a free concert here in Milwaukee during the 105th. One of the best shows I have ever been to and the wife and I always talked about seeing them again. Sadly that will never happen and he will be missed.
