Title: Bitcoins
Post by: Indenial on December 13, 2017, 06:35:08 PM
Wondering if anyone is using Bitcoins to purchase anything.  Or are you buying them?  Fascinating new game.  You only need three of them, or so for new CVO.

I am curious but follow Oracle of Omaha’s advice and avoid it. Just watched a Netflix movie on it and it been used for attempting to coverup drug deals.

However it’s moving to legitimacy on Wallstreet. The reason a bitcoin value is soaring is because the number of bitcoins is capped. Therefore made artificially scarce, like diamonds.

Have watched this with minimal investment interest since the beginning. Reminds me of a "Magic Bean" type investment. Good for drug dealers avoiding banks & Argentinians desperate to escape unreal inflation, not so good for legit investing in verifiable assets- my opinion.  As Desert Hog says, Buffet is not a fan.  The guy who wrote the article above likes Bitcoin.  I choose Buffet's take - below.

I am invested is several cryptic and have had good luck.   I have already made my money back.  Japan has recognized it, micro soft will accept it for payment, and now the place that I get my supplements started taking it a week ago.  There are also several sites that allow you to buy gift cards w/ it for places like Lowe’s.

For ones that are interested. I’d suggest looking at sites like crypto hopper.

Hmmm, I'm not too sure what to think of Bitcoin, but isn't it interesting that your post on the topic happens to be your 666th.

Just sayin'

Nothing instills a sense of security like a site called “Cryto Hopper”.

Good way to lose money.  Yes, it could be the next big thing and you'll make a zillion dollars.  Or, you'll lose everything.  Better bet - invest an S&P 500 mutual fund.
