Title: Air cleaner base to 40/44 mm carb and efi bolt pattern the same?
Post by: dave brode on June 18, 2018, 01:38:31 PM
Hello All,

I've always liked the oval XL looking air cleaner shape. Take offs from later CVO 103 and 110s are plentiful. The newer bikes' head breather bolt C/L is the same as all std cyl hiegth TCs, I take it.

Is the flange to the efi TB bolt pattern same as old carb'd bikes?

Thanks.
Dave
p.s. - T-Man's air cleaner sure is nice, but wow, the $$

If you're running a carbureted Twin Cam with the  stock CV carb, the backing plates for the 2002 - 2007 EFI bikes should bolt right up. You can't use the air cleaner for the 1999 - 2001 Magneti Marelli EFI bikes or the 2008 and up Delphi 50mm EFI bikes.
