Van's been waiting for you to ask that question. When he called me a few weeks ago to tell me he was getting a new bike and asked who might be interested in his SEEG, I said "Mark's your man!" ;D

The connector inside the fairing may have come undone. That happened to my iPod on the third day.. opened up the fairing, and the two connector halves were hanging inside loose. I snapped them back together and got my iPod back. I recommend you open up the fairing and make sure all of the connectors are snapped together tightly in there.
I also recommend that you go over the bike and make sure all of the bolts are torqued correctly. If it was late in the day on Bowling League night, the dude working on your bike might not have been paying very close attention... I have found several bolts on my bike that weren't tight - including the plate on the top of the oil filter mount, where the lines to the oil cooler come out of it. I was able to get nearly half a turn more on both of those bolts yesterday (and they are a B**** to get to with an Allen). I'm hoping that might eliminate the oil misting thats been continuing over the right front of the engine. I know it isn't the breathers (anymore), since we replaced them both last weekend and the A/C is dry, and checked all of the pushrod O-rings yesterday and torqued the lifter block bolts (which thankfully WERE all tight).
A friend of mine had his right floorboard front bolt come off right after he got his brand-new 2010 SESG home from the dealer, and the front of the floorboard fell right to the ground. Could have been a DISASTER if that had happened while he was riding, or Heaven Forbid making a right turn. Torque all of your bolts!

thanks -ill go over everything when i put it up the lift. noticed the left fairing speaker is inop too. :2vrolijk_21:
-
Very nice Van! :2vrolijk_21: Congratulations on the new ride. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks everyone. Had to take off the outer fairing. The plug on the pressure light needed some tweeking and the left speaker prongs were bent inside the connector. Just straightened up and were good to go. Luckily ive had the outer fairing off the other bike many times so i was a 30 minute job. But you would think they would ck them out a little closer!! :orange:

But you would think they would ck them out a little closer!! :orange:
Oh, they would but then they'd have to charge more. What happened to the good of American Quality standard? Beautiful scooter by the way. :-* spyder

First of all, congrats on the beautiful new scoot! As for quality, when I picked up my 2012 the XM wasn't working. They had the wires labeled CB plugged into the XM module and the wires labeled XM plugged into the CB. Isn't it great that the CVOs are now being built on the standard production line... :nixweiss:

Very nice ride :2vrolijk_21:

It's not the hashish.......it's those rose tinted glasses and that acid you keep takin! ???

I'll say one thing about my man, Van: He don't ef around when he wants something. Seems like only yesterday during a casual conversation in Santa Maria H-D he mentioned his admiration for the Hot Citrus & Antique Gunstock SG. I admire that conviction in a person!
BEAUTIFUL bike!
-
Lookie...Lookie! Atta boy! I trust this one gives you many smiles and miles! Enjoy!
