My 2012 CVO skunk
« on: February 23, 2016, 04:08:22 AM »

Going a little different direction than the traditional Harley build, I was big in the import scene back in the 90's and early 2000's so maybe that's where differing my style from the traditional HD look comes from, that being said I'm having fun mixing the traditional with some new school but still functional. Anyway some will like some will hate. Bottom line is I dig it
So hopefully you get the gist so far, building a carbon skunk :) basically everything under the ghosts flames on the upper half has been flipped from the galaxy black to gold and black carbon and we've color matched the 26" wheel to the white gold pearl. Assembly starts this coming week so things should make more sense. Stance will also be improved with the addition of front air ride to compliment the rear and lay it out nicely. Cheers and thanks for lookin

quick rear mock up before it went to pin striping just to make sure it all still fit properly after all the paint work and dipping

Btw the bars and front end on it is just so I can roll it around while we were waiting on parts :)

Also candied the rear lights. In Canada we have a brake light and amber signals... Well used to

Looks good! I like STYLE. Everyone has their own, and that's the key to customizing. Not walking into a shop and saying "Hey, can you make my bike look just like my buddies".  Can't wait to see it finished. More Pics!   :bananarock:

Wow, very nice. The vast majority of CVO owners would never change the paint, especially to that degree. But with non-CVOs seemingly having more and more custom appearing paint straight from moco it makes perfect sense to me. I love the carbon fiber look. Is that a hydro graph? Great job

thx man appreciate it. Yes it is with a million hours of candy clear and buffing to get a real 3D deep look. But I'm really happy with the result

Awesome! I figured that it's quite a commitment as a "fan" to put the logo on your bike. Hahaha! Great brand, beautiful bike!

When your painter doesn't f@ck around. Even takes the time to paint what you don't see just to prove a point ya that's the inside of the fender and that it's not done unless it's done right

Fought like a monkey him pin a football to get the tire mounted but got it on and not a mark. Figured I'd play around in my living room to see how it looks color matched to the white. Gonna look pretty sweet when the airs dumped
