Swingarm Bag
« on: February 28, 2016, 05:05:45 PM »

Will the Softail Swingarm Bag-90200417 fit our CVO Convertibles?
Could make for a cool look while running around town.

Hi Larry

I think it will fit on the CVO Convertible, it's no difference on triangle to other Softails.
But I don't like this poor and inadequate fitment with leather straps on the tubes and thin protective tape on the CVO color to prevent scratches.
I think also, this HD Bags don't have any metal sheet on inside to give it more stability.
A better solution is a mountig plate, fixed with 3 screws and special bolts on the pulley cover.
And a nice bag with integrated metal sheet and 3 knurled screws to fix it inside.
Sample pictures from my German forum.

Ingolf,

Thanks for the super pics.
Very detailed information.
You certainly know your Harley stuff!
I will try a bag, and see how I like it.
Should be able to find someone at the Barnett Harley Davidson with a bag.

Spent time in Germany, (military) Stuttgart and Ansbach.
We're are you?
