Pro Street Seat Replacement
« on: June 22, 2017, 11:41:07 AM »

Been looking at Corbin, Mustang, Le Pera seats as replacements for the stock seat on my Pro Street Breakout.

My question is this, have others with same bike replaced their seat? If so what did you go for?
And as I just realized, does the new seat cover or do you need to remove the CVO badge that sits in the notch cut out in the stock seat?

I don't have the ProStreet, mine is a 14 but have been giving thought to Danny Gray. Have you looked at the butt crack seat? Heard good things about it especially if you get a custom one with the Air Hawk option

I have looked at the Danny Gray seats. But my main concern is the CVO Badge on the base of the tank.

Any Pros Street owners replaced their stock seat? Does the new seat cover the CVO badge on the tank? Could anyone post a picture of a aftermarket seat on a Pro Street?

thanks

I'd seen recently a new PS Breakout owner with photos of an aftermarket seat & pillion on another forum. To be honest looked like sundowner seat/pillion. Not sure if he had to remove the CVO crotch badge, but it did cover over the bottom of the tank as you typically see in our aftermarket options.

Probably thing to do here is to ask the seat company you are thinking of using by Calling them. Email is overused and slow. Give them a call.

Slightly off toping but I have been tossing up between the Danny Gray but crack & the Mustang seat

has anyone got any pros & cons between the two

mine isn't the Pro Street version so I am not concerned about the badge

regards

Buttcrack you have the option of having an airhawk built into it. I would say that is a plus

I just bought a red/black seat from mustang. I’ll post pics of it mounted when it arrives.

Well the seat is definitely not red and black.

It’s easily purple/ maroon color. It’s so far off the pictures red and factory dark red on the Prostreet that I might take the seat to an upholstery shop and get the center section redone in the advertised red color.
