Auxiliary Saddlebag Lighting
« on: September 08, 2017, 06:22:37 AM »

I had Custom Dynamics Fillerz installed on my 2014 Limited and liked that they were so bright, making me more noticeable, however, the 17 CVO Limited has color matched inserts on the struts and I like that loo also.  I was thinking about the horizontal saddlebag lights that stick on but hate to stick anything on the beautiful paint.  Anyone have an opinion on these saddlebag lights?

Saw the lights on a Limited.  Dealer added them when the put on a removable tour pack.  Looked okay, and boy they were bright!

I have the HD Saddlebag lights on my CVO Road King.

Very bright and looks good.

The LEDs will match your tour pak light and are available in red or smoke.

I decided to wait on my decision and cancelled the part, receiving a refund.  However, the dealer forgot to pull the part and the technician installed them.  They were willing to take them off but since I liked them (didn't tell them that) we cut a deal where the part was discounted and the labor was free. Now that they are on, I like them.

Guess that would count as a good deal?

I installed them on my 15 limited. The box that they came in says run/brake/turn signal but I have only run and turn. No brake light. Anyone else have this problem?

Installed them today all functions work great. Make sure your BCM is properly formatted to do all of the functions you may have to get your dealer to program it. If your brake lights do not work on your tour pac That is probably your issue.

You may be right. I think BCM can be set for turn or brake on tour pack but not both. I'll have it in for service at dealer in 3 weeks and have it checked out. Thanks guys

check to make sure you have the correct part number for your bikes setup ... if not the correct kit...everything plugs in but does not function correct as you stated ..... happened to me ... purchased wrong part number ... everything but Brake lights ... exchanged for the right kit and it all worked...

Good answer. The dealership gave me the wrong part. It looks as though the only difference is the harness. They are getting the correct one. I'm going to swap harnesses and see if that works without swapping the lights.
