Leaking valve cover and will they 120?
« on: September 08, 2017, 11:35:44 AM »

Well cleaned the bike up last night and noticed I have a small valve cover leak that appears to be off the rear cylinder. 3800 miles. Is this common?

Also, since they dicked us 2017 CVO 114's do you think they will offer up a 120 kit or just stick with the 117?

I've had my CVO 114 for a couple of months and mine is doing the same thing.  Started to notice the small leak after about a 1000 mlies.  It's not much had a couple drips onto the pipe & sometimes it's just a little around the rocker box.  Mostly I smell it more than see it.  Figured I have them look at it when I bring it in for something else.

What little time I have ridden mine after the stage 4, my bike also was leaking slightly. The mechanic told me after they completed the install that it has been an issue before and the m8 might do it as well. He is going to try to address it when he reassemble the bike with new rubber gaskets and some black Harley sealant. I remember making the comment to him that it would have been nice to have known that before the build.
