Demo Days Experience
« on: October 15, 2017, 12:27:20 PM »

Was asked to assist with a Suzuki Demo yesterday helping ride sweep on the rides.  Fun to ride their different bikes and get a little pay for it.  Did not have many cruisers and the ones they had seemed to be missing a bit.  Got to ride a variety of R1000, Busa 1300, Vstrom 1000 and S1000 as well as the Boulevards.  Did not like the riding position of the sport bikes.  The S1000 was tolerable and a fun bike to ride.  Did enjoy revving the 4 cylinder liter bikes.  Felt strange on a bike with 11k-14k red line.  Ducati had one a few months back that I was not able to help with, sorry to miss it.

Demo rode an Indian Scout Bobber last week.  After riding touring bikes for 15 years, I was glad to get back on my "old man bike."  I couldn't imaging riding crouched over, with my knees bent like that, for long.  God bless youth.  BTW, it was a fun bike to ride...felt like a toy with 100 hp.
