Apparently so. Some kind of "deep record" in the ECM. Nobody ever used to look for it, but since the big EPA chitfest with Harley and the "race tuners" the MOCO reps now go looking for it !

In the past , if you flashed back to stock using TTS , the local dealer would "see" a stock calibration and would not dig any further , changed days today I hear.

As far as I am aware the Supertuner Pro NEVER had the ability to do a stock reflash , it was always a one way one direction trip kinda thing.

Some say TTS still flashes back to 100% stock OEM , but I'm sure that's a risk for "warranty". ( PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG HERE FOLKS , I'M ACTUALLY HOPING SO !)

Now I just sold my "out of warranty" 2013 CVO Breakout ( Supertuner Pro ) , and have just the one bike , a 2008 CVO Springer ( "original" up to 2008 SERT AND "early" TTS).

MOCO can do "sweet fork all" to either of those bikes now thankfully , but if you're still under warranty be careful is the word !

You should also be careful if you use both interfaces!

When you flash your ECM with SEPST, it sets a flag in the ECM "tuned for racing".
When you reflash with your PV the original stock tune recorded when paired with your bike (prior to any other flash with any interface), this flag remains set.

So you've got your stock tune back, but the dealer can see you did something...

Thank you, that's very good info to have.  Is there a web site where we can find more of that useful information?

I use to share and talk a lot about technical stuff on my french forum, but this particular point comes from an (unfortunate) personal experience...

I would post a question to Steve Cole over in the HD Tech Talk forum.  It was my understanding that the TTS would revert your ECM to factory with NO trace anything was ever done.   This may have changed with the M8, but I would know why.   He is the Guru and definitive answer.

I chose TTS for this specific reason on my 15 CVO.

My experience is about flashing with SEPST and PV, not TTS.
I suppose TTS overwrites also only a part of ECM memory, but it may depend on the type of calibration you use MT7 or MT8.
