It seems very weird that not 3 months ago every dealer in this region (and there is a lot)was flooded with both new and used bikes now all the dealers have very low stock of both ,but shockingly almost non existent used inventory....where did they all go?? These dealers are also void of even foot traffic, Am I in the twighlight zone or is this a Harley “market correction “?

The sales manager at my local dealer was taking in a lot of used bikes,  due to the 30% reduction of the new bikes that were being distributed....Sales from month to month have varied, but 2014-2016 bikes seem to be popular in my region (especially CVOs)..This could be due to limited after market parts on the M8s, or the warranty issues on changing performance  parts (non EPA approved) especially in California...

Good used bikes are everywhere here in Texas.

Even Facebook Marketplace has a bunch.  The Boerne Indian dealer has a really nice collection of used HD's but not many are Faired Baggers.

Maybe they were shipped to areas hit by the hurricanes this year.  There was a lot of bike lost in these storms.

Around my area, people are holding onto their old bikes more and more as the trade in values are a joke.  I hear alot of guys having second bikes for the first time because the deals without trade are much better.  Dealers are desperately trying to move bikes and reduce inventories.

Our local Indian dealer always has a good selection of 15, 16 HD tourers.  Some look showroom quality.

Indy's in our area have good inventories of used Harleys including CVO's at great prices. The Dealers must be sending their trade-ins to auction.

you know what there a lot of car dealers both new and used have them Harleys for sale too where you would rarely see a bike for sale

Pig Trail HD in Rogers AR has a bunch.

This one I traded in on a 2013 RGU in June of 2013.  They gave me over $18,000 for it against MSRP on the 2013.  It's got the 103 Stage II big bore kit and a few other extras.  About 44K mile when I traded it in.  I tried to buy it back last year, they turned down $14k, and turned town $10K last month.  I still have the black TTS dongle for it.

Both the dealers here in Tulsa have a pretty good inventory
