The info in nightrider talks about wide band 02 sensors.  It seems a SERT or whatever tuner you want to use will have limited adjustability unless you replace the narrow band stock 02 sensors in the exhaust.  I have just begun to check into this, so I'm no expert.  Just looking for answers on how to get my bike to run cooler.  (The bike that I have comming).  My '06 worked great with the Doherty a/c the HD SERT and Rush mufflers with 2" baffles.  On my new one, I want to leave the pipes alone, but I keep reading about engines overheating.  -Steve

I am worried about excessive heat on my soon to be delivered USE3.  I have been checking other web sites, and found an article that I thought was very interesting.  Check this out: http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/hd2007HD_heat_00.htm

Hey Steve - That is one very interesting article and it certainly explains why a lot of the problems people are experiencing are occurring.

This highlights the reasoning behind a lot of the pipes,A/C,PC-Sert =Thundermax changes that people are making to eradicate these issues. I'm glad that I made these changes at a very ealy stage in my SERK's life.

Thanks for the heads up.
