I have been lurking around this site for over a year and now have pretty much a daily addiction.  I finally figured out that I ought to introduce myself.  My name is Jim and I currently have an '06 Haze SEUC (that is for sale) and I am waiting to receive an '08 Canyou Copper SEUC.  I live on Padre Island in Corpus Christi, TX.  It's a great place to live if you like good weather and don't mind the heat and humidity.  We have three seasons down here, Summer, July and August!


I have really enjoyed the site and have learned a lot from all the knowledgeable contributors.  A special thanks to Mr. Magoo.  Dave has the same bike that I am waiting for and he has been extremely helpful to me in deciding what changes I will make "IF MY BIKE EVER ARRIVES".  He even took the time to give me a call to answer some of my questions.  It is pretty neat getting advice from a forum member that has experienced things instead of listening to the sales pitch of someone just trying to sell you something.

Anyway this is my introduction so excuse me while I get back to lurking.  By the way, I will send pictures when I get my new ride.

Welcome Jim,

You're right!  This is a great site to learn lots.

I love Padre Island... Been there a few time on road trips, although I've never been there in one of the three seasons you mentioned.  I was there in March twice and once in October and I can just imagine what the summers are like.  Great place!

Good luck with selling your old and bringing home the new.

Padre is a beautiful place - have vacationed & camped there many times way down in the 4 wheel drive area. Love those dunes.
