There you go ... It does not say how many are in one box, so you'd assume it is 19.95 per device, in total a fraction of the cost of the hight tech version. Has anyone installed these or similar?

So it is actually much cheaper, four for 15 bucks. I think that speaks for itself.

I like the concept of the cheaper ones, but I don't know if I would like a green thing sticking out on my wheels.  I think it would look pretty tacky.

I've been thinking about something like this. But the company's website is no longer working which gives rise to the question if they're still in business. I know the Wing guys all use something like this but I've been told that the company they buy from is no longer in business.

My new Chevy truck has OnStar. I got an email from them telling me my tire pressure is low.  And it was. I hope they don't track everywhere I go. If I want JD to know I was at the strip club last week, I'd tell her.

Technically, they can track you. Technically every mobile phone or data device can be tracked, either using sender triangulation (determining where you are by the mobile stations you use) or using the devices GPS capabilities. However, all this should only be possible if either the user has voluntary agreed to tracking, or it is the law enforcement doing the tracking. Different laws in different states and countries.
