Myko, great looking ride.  :2vrolijk_21:  The mods appear to be really well thought out and they come together to make a unique SESG.

Did you install the real spoiler lights yourself?  If so, how was the installation?   Great bike!         :2vrolijk_21:

Yes I did. I've done all work except I had the dealer change out the engine bolts for polished stainless before delivery.
Installation wasn't hard... drilling holes through a $30K+ paint job can be a bit nerve racking  :nervous: , especially when you're not certain that you'll like it when you're done  :shocked2: .

Had to think hard on placement of the connector behind the saddlebags, but it works out and the connector isn't seen but provides enough slack to loosen the bag, pull the top from the bike and then disconnect cleanly. One issue is that I had difficulty with the bolts provided... seemed to be about 1/4 inch too short... I couldn't get all of them to bite enough thread so went to Home Depot and picked up some stainless that were 1/4 inch longer and used those... snugged up real well, but had me shook for a bit that I had stripped out the hole or something... but the new bolts went in fine and snugged it up.

Great job on the mods on your SESG Mike, and you're wife's bike is exactly the same one my nephew just bought. He's a die-hard Victory man and loves his Cross Country.

Thanks Myko, will certainly consider this Mod,  where does the wiring go to?  Were you able to loop it into the wiring for the taillights?

Actually, this plugs right into the empty accessories plug under the seat. I need to check the wiring diagram, but I thought I had read somewhere that you could add the turn flasher mod that would allow these to be run/stop/turn lights... right now they are just run/stop. So far, no splicing for the 2010 (except the garage opener)

no kidding..that sounds pretty easy.  That brings me to the next question, I have heard that there is a empty accessory plug under the seat, but I haven't actually seen it, is it the one with the red cap on it?

Hey Mike,

I am on the fence of ordering the Kuryakyn Driving Lights for my SESG and have a question about the lack of adjustment for aiming the Driving Lights.  Does the setup with the way the bracket is attached as provided by Kuryakyn aim the lights good or not?

Thanks for your feedback.

Rich

Hi Myko,

Was there any additional drilling required for the PM Mirrors?

I do like the look of them.

Thanks,

Kev

Rich, the lights are completely adjustable. L/R and U/D, two different adjustments... matter of fact, you need to assemble two pieces and run the wiring through... my issue was that between the black and white wires, they didn't give a hint on which should be where in the slot, turned out I reversed them and pinched the wire resulting in a short which blew the accessories fuse... once I found it, I put the wires in a more natural order and heat shrinked where they'd been pinched.  Hope that answers it.

No additional drilling, plug and play once you have the outer fairing off.
