Would you trade your stock SESG wheels for a pair of stock SERG wheels (I think they call them the blade wheels)?  They're an all chrome wheel.

I just haven't been to big on the black and chrome wheel.  I like the wheel style but the black doesn't go with a blue bike (or a red or brown bike).  It's kind of like the regular Street Glide wheels.......they're black, too.  If they were all chrome, I'd be happy with them but they're black.

I have an opportunity to trade for a set of SERG wheels and am seriously considering it.  What's your thoughts.....would you trade?

On your SESG??...  absolutely!

They would really set your bike off nicely.

Jc I have often wondered what those wheels would look like on the RG. I think until you actually mount them up and see it that it will be a matter of taste if you like them or not. Too bad you didnt live closer I would be willing to try it on a trial bases, to see  if both partys were 100% happy.  Good luck.

Seriously, that's what my first thought was.  No, second thought.....first thought was "chrome wheels"!

And what are you doing down here in the SESG board.....thinkin of trading one of your SEEGs in?

I really like the look of the Blade wheels. I'm looking at em for my 02 Candy Brandy. Besides, they're chrome!

I think the "Blade" wheels would look good on you SESG.
You can never argue with more chrome.
I also want to thank you for continually boosting the economy in the great state of California.
The country may be in a recession but with your help California will survive.
Buy the wheels.
And they will look good on Terrie's bike also.

There's a thread somewhere on this forum where someone had the stock SESG wheels chromed (or bought chromed versions - I forget which).  That was on the Concord colored bike.  It made a ton of difference in the look of the bike --- to the positive.   

Maybe one of the moderators can find that thread and post it here.  I can't at the moment.

I'd say go with the chrome.

I definitely think the chrome wheels would look better on the Concord Blue.  I disagree with you looking better on the Spiced Rum though.  IMO, I think the contrast cut wheels were made with the Spiced Rum in mind.  They perfectly compliment the whole spiced rum/black look of the bike.  I've seen the SR with the all-chrome agitators and didn't like it at all.  But for the Concord and the Tequila, I would definitely go with the chrome wheels....in fact I think all of you Tequila Sunrise and Concords should switch over to all chrome wheels, that would make the Spiced Rum unique...I'm just sayin...

Well the SESG definately looks better with the chrome wheels.

I'm surprised how many people are in here that aren't on a SESG.  I rarely go to the other model boards.....hell, I have a hard time just keeping up in here.

O.K. if we can get those of you with SESGs to post your thoughts.......if you could trade straight across, would you?

Nope, like my bikes just fine!  I clicked unread posts and this one looked interesting, and besides, the SESG is very close to the SEEG...
