I cant believe no one has mentioned doing this yet, so I will. I assume that the 19" front wheel will work on the 2010?? As my old girlfriend used to say, It is amazing what a difference 1" makes. Personally I think the 2011s look great and think the 19" would make a big difference on my SESG. Any thoughts?

Good Idea. I knew there was a reason why I was waiting for the SG wheels for my SEUC, and the reason is the new ones are 19". Paitence pays off I guess...

I was thinking th same thing. Should be an easy swap. Also should be able to sell the old one easily.

19" Chrome is $599.95 at chicago harley. Chrome back 18" is same price. Still can't find a price on tire. Am told it will swap right over.

IT'S ON MY WISH LIST... likely a winter upgrade.

It is a good question. In fact i had been contiplating going with the chrome wheels but after a few discussions here on this site, i put the idea on hold. Now that i have seen the 19 in chrome, the urge to swap out again is undeniable... and i'm really glad i waited.

Plus Mama has green lited the idea so I have to strike while the iron is hot! Look for a low mile set of contrast chrome 18's on ebay soon

I'm all over a set of chrome's 19/18 c'mon.

One big question - will the front height remain the same / will ride / performance remain the same, better or worse?

I'm no math wizard, but is the height of the rim plus lower profile tyre the same as the stock 18" tyre and rim.

The 19" wheel does look good but it looks like a lower profile tire than the 18"... so the overall height would be the same.... I would think that the tire would be stiffer resulting a slightly harsher ride. The wheel would also be more prone to damage since there is less rubber between it and the road.. especially on the roads in Louisiana! Just my .02

19 inch tire is a 130/60 which is 3.07 inches of rubber on each side of the 19" rim making over all height 25.14 inches.

PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ain't no "maybe".......it'll definately be a harsher ride. Not so much on the smooth roads but when you hit one of the big pot holes or the busted up concrete slabs.

Looking forward to the pictures. If they made the Blade wheel in a 19, I'd really be tempted.

Chrome 19 front and 18 rear agitators wheels on order now. Will post pics as soon as mission complete. And now we wait for the UPS truck... look for slightly used (2000 miles) set of black n chrome 18's with bearings and front tire on ebay soon!

Just got back from Sturgis tonight, and saw a Spiced Rum at the Kuryakn booth awaiting install with the solid chromes. I prefer the contrast myself, but I think you will definitely be happy. Looking forward to your pictures.

My new rims have arrived, but still waiting for the 19" tire and install kits. The mirror chrome are absolutely gorgeous. they look like jewelry. If they look half as good on the bike as they do off, I will be thrilled.

You will never feel the difference in ride, Todays tires sidewalls are just stiff enough that .5 inch just can not be felt. I could tell no difference, and neither could the guy who later bought it from me, in the 05 SEEG with stock 130/16 and the Renegades with 130/18's which had much less sidewall. Bikes are just not that refined to allow that to be felt.

I can sense absolutely no difference in harshness. I do feel it may prove to be less safe than the bike was before, but it might have something to do with me trying to lean way over to watch the wheel spin while I'm riding

I just received a set of Chrome and polished front rotors today! These are a great mod for my 010 spiced rum, IMO Harley really let us down on the street glide cvo bikes with those ugly unfinished stock rotors, this has always been a pet pev of mine! anyway these new rotors look like a piece of jewelry, the polished outer looks as good as the chrome inner. They even come with chrome bolts ! can't wait to put them on the bike, Thank you Chicago HD 5 days delivered! And ya you definitely need these on your 19" wheel, looks great by the way! I best quit looking at the pic or I may be making another purchase! Cheers

I rode the 2011 sesg Harley fleet yesterday and man the front end was stiff or hard I was checking out the new rear shocks for my 2009 serg, and the rear r a real improvement over mine but the front end is stiff

Posted this as a reply to an older post, but will also put it here. Here's a photo of the 19" Agitator wheel with polished rotors, flush mount axle and chrome calipers. Browns (Paducah, KY) did the plating ($300 for both calipers) and Specialty Polishing (Winston Salem, NC) did the rotors.

I think I know where you are coming from...to me, the bigger wheel is great but I think Harley needed to extend the rear of the front fender just a little bit to go with the 19" front wheel...but hey, you can't have it all!!

Sure…. I bought the new chrome 19’s (as you see in the posts above) from Chicago Harley in mid August. I listed my 18’s with the front tire on CVOHarley’s “Selling” forum and sold them to another Member (Duece Bigalow – Tom) in a matter of days.

ROUND 1 - The new rims came via fedex in very nice boxes so I reused them to ship my old rims to my buyer. I sent 3 packages (2 rims and the front tire) via Canada Post Parcel . The front tire and the Rear wheel arrived to Tom (who lives in NJ) in a timely matter early in September. The Front Wheel however was slower. After a few weeks of searching through Canada Post and USPS Parcel we found that it had been shipped to another address somewhere in Illinois. With NO HELP at all from Canada Post, Tom put 2 + 2 together and in late September we discovered that rather than use the new shipping label I put on, Canada Post somehow shipped my old front wheel back to Chicago Harley using their return address info from what was left of the original FedEx sticker. I called Chicago Harley and sure enough they had the wheel. A young fellow named Josh there had put it aside wondering when someone would call to claim it.

ROUND 2 - I asked Josh to immediately re-ship the rim to Tom in NJ, and as a normal practice; Josh insured the shipment. I paid him on my account there and I sent the tracking info to Tom in NJ. Happily, we both tracked the FedEx number all the way to the FedEx depot in Barrington NJ…. And there it sat, and sat, and sat. Day after day turned into more than a week. We both called FedEx and had them search, and day after day turned into many weeks. IT WAS GONE! NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. I called FedEx and as I was not really the shipper (Chicago Harley was) I could do nothing. So I called Josh back at Chicago Harley. Remember they have no skin in this at all, other than I buy stuff there. THANK GOD JOSH INSURED IT! And while it took almost 2 more months to straighten out, Chicago Harley (Josh) made a claim thru FedEx for us, ordered and new rim and shipped it to Tom in NJ.

Lessons learned? – First CVOHarley’s Deuce Bigalow (Tom) is the most patient man I know and a perfect gentleman. Next - Josh and the boys at Chicago Harley are TOP SHELF in customer service. And finally ALWAYS INSURE YOUR SHIPMENTS!
