Road hazards...
« on: April 21, 2006, 10:15:06 AM »

Still trying to figure out my camera phone (Motorola Razr) But almost ran into this lil guy who came charging out onto the road in Minnesota last week while driving my Big Rig, I got some great video on the phone as he continued along looking back at me every so often  for about a half mile til he got to dirt road he wanted, then made a right and continued on. No blinker though, rude fellow....would have hated to encounter this on the SEEG, cause he was about twice the size as the bike!!

ceej,
Maybe he was trying to give you a little more horsepower?? [smiley=confused5.gif] Hope he/she didn't leave any droppings in the road to get all over your rig. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Not a good thing indeed. Here in my part of the world is a much more frequent hazard. These things are slow, generally unlighted and found on some of the best motorcycle roads in the state. Oh yeah, the road apples suck.

Just getting caught up with posts, I didn't pass him cause he was movin at a good clip and kept lookin back at me, I haul oversized stuff and gotta watch being on the wrong side of the road and I thought he could dart in my direction anyhow. Hey like we say, Share the Road! I really was just enjoying the sight myself. I've yet to see a moose even though I often get up into the logging country of Main, BC, and this week Vermont, always looking, and lovin the technology of these Camera phones - This dang thing has better megapixels than my regular digital camera, guess that means its out dated? - still works, and heck with the quality of the camera phone and always being with me - I just use it lately.

Hey ceeg that was a great shot, especially from a phone! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I was just having fun with the 1 horse and passing thingie. Of course it would have been unsafe to do anything except what you did. Hope you get to see that moose, and have your phone with ya when you do! ;D God Bless!
