Good day, I'm a "newbie" here and wanted to introduce myself. I just traded in a 2001 FXDWG for a '06 CVO and am anxious to learn more about the bike, and I found this site! Great information!
It was sold at Ventura CA Harley and I have yet to track down the service records from the original dealership in Simi Valley but I plan on doing that this friday. I'm hoping it was well taken care of. Ventura did check the tensioner and its "within spec" and a nasty oil leak was taken care of at the same time. The previous owner also re-installed the stock mufflers because he wanted to re-use the nice ones he had on his new bike. I don't know what were on there. Venturas' tech also noted that it was "Race tuned" and it does have a high-flo air cleaner kit. So I guess true duals are in order some day?

You can't go wrong with the 103" motor.....it's a proven work horse and I wish they were still using that motor.
