Where did Harley get the idea for the Street Glide? The overwhelming popularity of the 2004-2005 FLHTCSE, that's where. The Street Glide came out in 2006 after a very successful 2 year run of the custom, stripped down look of the FLHTCSE. So if you look at it that way, there was a Street Glide in 2004, 2005, 2010, 2011, and 2012! Now how it that for rare?

you don't like the Quality or Customer Service? Then why do you have a CVO? Shouldn't you have something like a BMW?
just asking, personally I am 50/50 on the Customer Service (Depends on the Dealer) and I love my CVO

I guess you have never owned a BMW, except for a rare  few dealers their customer service and lack of dealer networks aren't great. I know, I also have had a few BMW (Bring my Wallet).

Very True!! I tell people all the time (when they ask,'What kind is that?) mines like a Street Glide before they made the Street Glide. I traded a 06 SG for my 04  three and a half years ago. Just couldn't afford it in 04

I think Jerry was just being way to kind.  HD quality and service is extremely rare.  When are they going to make a bike that handles well and can go 100,000 with ease?  I don't think it's going to happen in my lifetime.  If you have not experienced the poor service and quality related issues you are indeed very fortunate.  I and many others have had the usual experience of emptying our wallets just to make it somewhat pleasurable & dependale to ride.

I'd have to say our local dealer had done me pretty good since I haven't ever bought a bike from them! Long story!! But they have done all my warrenty work ( 3 different Harleys) plus some things I couldn't or didn't want to do! It hasn't been all perfect but what is??  I'd give them an A- to B- so far!! Except for the time I did try to buy a bike from them! Salesman at the time...... F--.

There ae lots of those bikes around.  They are called Goldwings.

  I'd rather push my Harley than ride a Goldwing!! Sorry if that offends anyone! No I'm not really! I have a good friend with a Wing and he feels the same about my bike! Aw well, some got it, some don't!!

You are probably right Jerry only 2100 units made of the FLTRUSE, where as there were 3500 units of the  2010 FLHXSE, 3500 units of the 2011 FLHXSE, and 2356 units of the 2012 SEEG's......

Whoa.... Where'd you get that 2356 number for the FLHXSE3 total?
