Title: New Baby mover
Post by: 07 CVO on February 18, 2007, 04:29:01 AM
Today we decided since the baby is 5 months away we needed to get a better baby mover,so we went out to the local Lincoln Mercury Dealer and purchased an 07 Lincoln MKX which is AWESOME!. This is the first car that I think both me and the wife are truely happy with. She loves it for the luxury. I love it for the power and style. If you have not looked at one of these vehicles up close yet, don't unless you are ready to buy...lol Because we could not walk away from it...

ESJ Jester,
The MKX has 265 HP out ofa 3.5L V6 with a 6 speed transmisssion. This SUV is pretty loaded up with all kinds of goodies from the factory. Kinda like the Screamin Eagle version of a Ford Edge...lol

ESJ Jester,

The new engine has 1500 miles on it and the badges are still silver, so yes it is broke in with AMSOIL put in at the 1000 mile service and running a cool 225 average temp. As for the Lincoln MKX that one only has 114 miles on it so far, but that will change tomorrow when I drive it to work.

Very interested in your review on this car.  I am interested in replacing my 03 Nissan Murano in spring of 2008. So far, the replacement that I have seen that I like best is the Lexus RX430.  The 08s are now out, but we have not gone in to look at them.  Maybe cause I needed to stop and look at this Lincoln first.  Thanks for the report, and congratulations on the growing family.

Mrs WeCVO,

The Lincoln MKX is definately worth your time taking a look at before you buy the Lexus. Plus since the American auto manufacturers are hurting for business I believe in helping out the American economy instead of the Japanese Economy. The Lincoln also comes with a good warranty and road side assistance. Plus the Lincoln is less expensive. A win-win situation all around.

MARK KEEP US UP TO DATE ON YOUR BABY IN THE OVEN. ALSO,  I RECENTLY SEEN A NEW BABY STROLLER THAT COMES EQUIPTED WITH AC. THOUGHT MAYBE LIVING IN HI. THAT WOULD BE A STANDARD OPTION. DONT KNOW WHOS THE MAKER IS BUT, BUT IF I DO I CAN LET YOU KNOW. ;D
