Drilled some more holes in the bike today
« on: October 23, 2010, 06:38:53 PM »

When I was at Sturgis this year following many Tequila CVO's I notice 2 things.
1) all that empty space from the rear was boring? There was no striping or contrast in the back like the rest of the bike?

2) there seemed to be a need for additional lighting to improve visibility. The new led lights are cool but still IMO more is better and as I followed folks riding the same bike it seemed to need more illumination to alert the driver behind?

So I purchased these LED tail / Brake lamps in flames to go with the bikes paint theme.

Pretty happy with the look and they are BRIGHT so they should alert the drivers behind  :2vrolijk_21:

You can also add the saddlebag lid spoilers and they will run , stop and turn with your signals. Nowadays lights behind are a must in my opinion. If you have a tour pak add the lid spoiler there as well .

Wheels - I agree  :2vrolijk_21:    Good mod

I'm really pleased with my rear end, (and my bike's) as it gives a great deal more illumination and less chance of a rear end incident.    Of course, pics will be forthcoming when it ever get's out of the dealer - 9 days and counting and not a single word, call or email?   :nixweiss:
