White walls
« on: June 18, 2012, 07:34:06 AM »

Has anyone put a set of white walls on a 2011 SESG?  I was thinking of it, but it might not suit the look?

JMHO... I think whitewalls look better/best on spoke wheels only.

X3! Can't believe anyone would do that on a SESG... if you can even get whitewall tires in that size. Whitewalls do not go with the styling of the SESG at all.

I have wide whites on my Heritage. Wouldn't consider puting em on my CVO. Way wrong in my oppinion but to each his own, everyone is into something different thats why not all bikes are black.

I have white walls on my Ultra and they look great but not quite sure how they would look on a SG  :nixweiss: I am thinking they may look a bit odd.

dudes & dudetts remember bikes are works of artf that we ride.....and thats what sets us apart.... some like leather others dont some like fringe others dont some like lites galor other dont...... soooooo if our fellow rider wants white walls more power to him chit some guys ride hondas others dont.......in the end its about two wheels and no CAGES! so brother or sister buy your gansters and have at it..... in the final analysis those of us that buy harleys buy bikes we can ride so if the wheels work CRANK IT UP BABY and LETs RIDE :pepper:

If I had a Heritage Softail or a Road King Classic I would be all over some
White Walls, but never on the banana.

Are you sure they even make white walls in the size we have, especially the front?

The 99'RKC had wide white walls already on it when I bought it. The bike was silver and black with 60 spoke American wires and it looked ok. Worst part was they were a PITA to keep clean. I don't think white walls would ever look good on any model CVO bike.
