I wanted to wish my baby a great Happy Valentines Day!

I met Nancy on May 28th 2004 and my life has changed for the better since.

A friend called me telling me about this lady that worked for Wachovia that was thinking about buying a Harley.

He gave me her # and I called and we talked about what she was looking for. We met and started her quest for a

bike. We looked for about a month and each time we got together I had a blast. We found one and and she was a

happy camper. I realized then my job was done but suggested we ride some together just to make sure it was fine.

A couple months later everything changed. We were riding on a country road and three dogs ran out in front of my

Nancy. The worst thing I have ever seen. Her bike tumbling along the road and her body doing the same. It was bad

but even in a bloody mess she wanted to get up and pick up her bike. In surgery at the hospital about 6 hours later

the doctor working on her face said, "look what I found". He pulled a piece of her mirror out from under her skin in her

face about the size of a dime. Nancy is a trooper and after a month or so she healed up. We rode to Myrtle Beach,

we rode to Daytona and during that time I realized I wanted her riding with me forever!

We have had a blast and as members of this site we have ridden and made friends that are friends for life.

I proposed a union of two V twins and she accepted. We are to be married March 10 here in Charlotte at a small

service. I am a lucky man to have her and on a special day like this I hope to have her as my Valentine. She certainly

has my heart! I love you Nancy! Happy Valentines Day!

I hear ya there Nancy!! For the same reasons, we can't hardly plan anything till after mid-Feb too! Sure is mighty nice of the Bike Week/Harley people to celebrate your anniversary in such a big way  I'm from South Florida and have never been to bike week so this is a first for me! Just don't hate me cuz I'm a rider and don't have my own bike  (it's by choice!)

Happy Valentine's Day Suzanne (aka: HarleyDiva)!!  

I met Suzanne December 4th, 2005...we were both members of Match.com (yes, it does work), and had communicated for a few days prior to her driving down to B'ham to meet me for lunch.  There are some things you can feel are right immediately, and this was one of those things.  It had been several years since I had ridden, and Suzanne had not been on the back of a bike since her childhood.  When I cautiously mentioned I wanted to get a HD, she was thrilled and excited at the prospect of us being able to share something so wonderful together.  We window shopped for two months, then put the deposit down on the SEUC, and I bought the Duc to get the feel back for riding while waiting.  Suzanne loved riding as much as I did.  She has been supportive of everything we've done related to motorcycling, even bringing me   when I'm adding bling or detailing the bike.

Our love of riding is surpassed only by our love for each other, so we recently agreed that we should take the next step and move in together "officially" as of February 1st.

I Love You, Baby and look forward to many more years of sharing our lives together.

He's already told me I need to park it before I put too many miles on it!!!   I was like, "HUH?"  I realize it was the first year of the SE Vrod and there were only 2400 and they are like a collector's item, but I'm still like, "Huh? But I LOVE riding my Vrod.  I don't care how valuable it is!!!!  I want to RIDE it!"  I also want to race it...but that's another story!!!

Ok, ok!  I can't take it anymore!    This is just too mushy for me!  I know, I know, but I'm not your traditional female!  That's why my engagement announcement was all cartoonish!  I guess maybe I need to get in touch with my feminine side!!!!  LOL!!!   Wait!  I am in touch with my feminine side...a zillion pairs of high heels and something sparkly on my finger is enough to do that!  But I still love the sound of my Vrod starting or someone gassing an all American sports car!!
