I'm in trouble with the BSR...
« on: August 16, 2008, 09:42:00 AM »

Packing up some of Anne's Hummel's...curio shelf collapsed in the front...resulted in FOUR broken ... including the First Hummel Club Exclusive Edition, Valentine Gift...and one of her favorites, Little Bookkeeper.

Can't wait to BREAK the news to her...

need to see if I had these in our collectibles list for homeowners coverage...

PS, no Dog so no Doghouse...but I may be living in our Bike Hauler for a while...

I hate when that happens.

Hopefully you had them listed and hopefully someone will be parting with them on eBay or the like for replacement.

Best wishes for a nice sleeping pad in the trailer..............

If it were my wife, should would be on eBay already - with an extra one or two thrown in for her trouble...

Good luck!

You could always damage the lock on the front door and claim you were burglarized.

How often does she look at these things?  I was thinking, and this is a true story, my wife once bought a small table that she wanted me to refinish.  She thought it was great and such a great deal, too, but IMO, the thing was junk and not worth the effort.  The thing sat in the basement room for about a year until when she was out of town one weekend, I used an axe to break it up and put it in with the trash (man, that was fun).  It was gone when she got home.

That was about ten years ago.

She never missed it, never asked about it, never noticed it was gone.  To this day.  And I never told her what I did.

First Hummel Club Exclusive Edition, Valentine Gift......and one of her favorites, Little Bookkeeper.

Here you go Bill.  Little Bookkeeper and Valentine Gift.  Just print these, glue them to some cardboard, cut along the edges and stand them up in the cabinet.  She won't notice.

For a while.

Just practice saying "How'd those get there?" :nixweiss:

Bill there is a little secret to using Super Glue Learned it in my radio control airplanes days... BAKING SODA just fill the gaps with it to remove all the AIR CRACKS that way the super glue will penetrate and it is stuck for ever...  They also make a super glue called "HOT STUFF" its real thin like water.  Put the two pieces you want to glue together smooth the baking soda over the cracks and just one drop of Hot Stuff and its saturates through the whole crack.

Hope this helps,   :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Bill I have room for you and room for the bike in the garage. I am in Jamestown so the ride to work will be cut to appx. 15 min. My wife can't cook worth a damn but she doesn't bitch much either. The rent is cheap. Kevin
